1. About This Service

Seat Genie ("the Service", "we", "us") is an AI-powered counseling assistant operated by an individual (sole proprietor) based in Telangana, India. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB), JNTU, or any other exam or admission authority.

The service is intended to assist TS EAPCET, AP EAPCET, and JEE / JoSAA / CSAB candidates with rank predictions, college guidance, and counseling information based on previous year data.

2. Eligibility & Mobile Verification

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By using Seat Genie, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide during registration (including your mobile number) is accurate.

One account per person. Each mobile number may only be linked to one account. Attempting to register multiple accounts with the same mobile number will be denied.

Mobile Number Verification Disclaimer: Please note that Seat Genie does not verify the ownership or accuracy of mobile numbers via SMS OTP or external validation services during registration. Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and ownership of the mobile number entered. Seat Genie accepts no responsibility, liability, or obligation for any incorrect, misspelled, or unauthorized use of any third-party mobile numbers, or if a user registers using a mobile number belonging to another person.

3. Question Packs & Payment (Questions)

Seat Genie operates on a pay-per-question model, where "questions" represent query credits. To remove any confusion, the terms "Questions" and "Credits" (or standard/JEE questions/credits) are used interchangeably throughout the website, tool interfaces, and checkout pages to represent the counseling quota balance associated with your account. All new accounts receive 5 free questions upon registration. Additional questions can be purchased in packages (Starter, Basic, Pro, Topper).

Deductions from your balance of questions depend on whether you are using a free tier or paid question pack quota:

• Paid Users (Paying Customers): Charged exactly 1 question flat rate per search query, irrespective of the response length, tables, or exam mode (EAPCET or JEE).
• Free Tier Users: Charged dynamically based on the complexity and outcome of the AI response:
  • TS & AP EAPCET Queries: Simple text-only queries deduct 1 question. Queries resulting in detailed lists, headers, or markdown tables deduct 2 to 3 questions based on length.
  • JEE / JoSAA Queries: JEE queries deduct a base of 2 questions, detailed queries with tables deduct 4 questions, and highly detailed multi-table queries deduct 6 questions.
• Counseling Tools: Using the EAPCET Options Auditor or College Compare tools deducts 2 questions. Using the JEE Options Auditor deducts 5 questions, and the JEE College Compare deducts 2 questions.
• PDF Exporting: The first 2 list exports are free. Subsequent PDF exports deduct 2 questions per export.
• Validity: Purchased questions are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.
• Stacking: Questions purchased from multiple packs stack together automatically.
• Expiration: Unused purchased questions expire after their 30-day validity period and are non-refundable.

Deduction Predictability Notice: Due to the generative and dynamic nature of AI, the exact output format, formatting elements (such as tables or headers), and response length cannot be predicted with 100% certainty before a query is submitted. Consequently, for free tier users, we cannot guarantee the exact number of questions that will be deducted for any specific query, as variations in the AI's response length or structure may change the deduction cost dynamically.

4. No-Refund Policy

We strongly encourage you to use your 5 free questions to evaluate the quality and usefulness of the AI's responses before purchasing any package. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this no-refund policy.

5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Predictions, Not Guarantees: All AI outputs and estimations generated by our features — including the **Web Options Auditor** (safe/moderate/dream predictions & allotment probability meter), the **College Comparison tool** (side-by-side cutoff comparison & recommendation ranks), and the **Chat Assistant** — are strictly hypothetical predictions based on historical data. They do not constitute a guarantee of admission, seat allotment, or future cutoffs under any circumstances.

EAMCET and JoSAA/CSAB cutoff ranks change every year based on various dynamic factors, including:

• Number of candidates appearing for the exam
• Exam difficulty level and score distribution
• Changes in seat matrix, reservation policies, or new colleges
• Government orders that change category allocations

Do not make final admission decisions or lock your preferences based solely on this service. Always verify college codes, options, and cutoffs with official portals: eapcet.tgche.ac.in, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, and josaa.nic.in / csab.nic.in.

Language Translation Disclaimer: Seat Genie offers optional AI-powered translation for chat responses (e.g., Telugu). Because these translations are generated dynamically by artificial intelligence, they may not be 100% accurate, complete, or contextually perfect. Official college names, codes, cutoffs, and counseling terms are native to English, and you should rely on the English versions for final verification.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate spam, misleading content, or for commercial resale.
• Attempt to bypass the question limit through technical means.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Use the service for any purpose other than EAMCET-related academic guidance.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without a refund.

7. Ownership & Intellectual Property

User Query & Output Ownership: You retain ownership of the queries you submit to the Service. You are granted ownership and a royalty-free license to use, copy, display, and share the AI-generated outputs for your personal, non-commercial academic guidance. Seat Genie does not claim ownership over user-submitted inputs or generated AI outputs. Note that AI-generated content may not be subject to copyright protection under applicable intellectual property laws.

Seat Genie Proprietary Materials: All other content, proprietary source code, software databases, design layouts, logos, and branding of Seat Genie are owned by the individual operator. You may not reproduce, redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the service, code, or databases without explicit prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seat Genie and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Reliance on AI-generated counseling advice
• Inaccurate or outdated cutoff predictions
• Admission outcomes based on guidance from this service
• Technical downtime or service interruptions

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
